Kingtec’s trailer refrigeration units are commonly described as “plugs in anywhere” and can also run off a generator while on the road or at locations without shore power.  A common reference point you’ll see for generator sizing is around a 5,000-watt generator for certain all-electric configurations (actual needs depend on model/startup load).

• Some users/vendors note these units should not be plugged into GFI/GFCI outlets due to compressor startup behavior (we can advise you on best practice for your site).   • Startup amps can vary with heat, load, and how warm product is when loaded—so we’ll always recommend the correct outlet/circuit for your specific use.

KINGTEC trailer refrigeration units are designed for both fresh (cooler) and frozen (freezer) applications.  Common published operating ranges you’ll see include: • 0°F to 50°F (-18°C to 10°C) depending on model and conditions   • Many rental/sales listings also reference approximately -4°F to 50°F for cooler/freezer use   Final performance depends on ambient temperature, how often the door opens, product load, and whether you’re trying to pull down warm product vs hold temp.

Kingtec’s TC20H / TC30-2H series are specifically described for on-road refrigerator trailers and for fresh + frozen applications.  Example published specs from Kingtec for TC20H include: • Room temperature range: 0°F ~ 50°F (-18°C to 10°C)   • 115V / 60Hz / 1-phase configuration available   • Listed consumption example: 2,180W and 13.5A (model/config dependent)
